What are CA's local outreaches?
Skid Row Outreach
LA is a city that has thousands of homeless people. It's pretty overwhelming at times; however, just because we can not do everything, does not mean that we have a reason to do nothing. Please join with other members from Christian Assembly (all ages from 10 years and up are welcome) who gather Sunday mornings (8:00 - 11:00 a.m.) to put their faith into action by distributing food, as well as, befriending and praying with the homeless of our city. Opportunities also exist for those wanting to help with food preparation on Saturday mornings (9:00 - 12:00 p.m.)

Kids Hope Mentoring - click here for the Kids Hope Page!
The statistics for children growing up in Eagle Rock are not good…50% of them will not graduate from high school. Help change that by getting involved with “Kids Hope” and loving our city in a tangible way. We will pair up you up with one “at-risk” child from Eagle Rock Elementary and a prayer partner from CA. You will receive four-hours of training and mentor your child one hour every week at the school, during the school day, at a time that works with your schedule. This is a nine-month commitment (aligned with the school year calendar).
