What classes does the Relationship Center offer?
The Relationship Center offers classes each quarter to promote healthy relationships in all aspects of life. Class topics include: pre-married and newly married issues, parenting issues, overcoming anger, how to deal with grief and loss, and how to develop healthy relationships. In addition to classes there are teaching seminars and special events offered throughout the year. A brief description of each of the courses offered by The Relationship Center follows. Grief Support Group:
For those who have experienced the death of a loved one, and desire support as they walk through the grieving process. If you would like a safe place to share your loss with people who understand, stop by the Connection Center in the lobby for information or e-mail TRC@caeaglerockl.com.
Pre-Engaged and Pre-Married Class - Next class to be offered Sunday, October 3, 2010.
Next class begins Sunday, October 3, 2010 This 6 week class is open to any couple who is dating and considering marriage, engaged, or newly married. The topics include spiritual oneness, communication, conflict resolution, finances, family relationships, and sex in marriage. It includes the Life Innovations Prepare Assessment, a comprehensive relationship evaluation tool. It is offered twice a year at a cost of $40 per couple. A class for couples and singles wanting to grow in healthy communication skills and want to gain greater understanding in the positive ways men and women relate. This class is designed to strengthen the marriage relationship by better understanding each others needs 9 week class begins Thursday, April 15th from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. at 2435 Colorado Blvd. first floor. Singles Relationship Class - To be offered at a later date.
Today more than ever, people long for connection. This class will take a look at: Who you are and what you bring to your relationships, your family of origin, how to handle failed relationships and tips for building friendships that last. Material used is the book, Relationships by Drs. Les and Leslie Parrott. The leaders are a LMFT and Fuller students. This 6 week class begins Sunday, May 23rd at 2435 Colorado Blvd room 21 at 9:00 am.

Secrets of Love, Sex, and Happiness Class Part 1 & 2 - To be offered at a future date.
This is a continuation of the class offered by Dr. Catherine Hart- Weber and additional teaching staff. She emphasizes practical Christian Living considering health, growth and maturity in every aspect of life - body, mind, emotions, spirit and relationships. This class is designed to promote healthy intimacy in all aspects of marriage.
Transforming Anger into Righteousness. Peace, and Joy- Next class begins Sunday October 3, 2010.
This six week class is an opportunity to get support in finding freedom from the anger and resentment which is hindering your life and relationships. The teaching is both practical and biblical.
